Worship Ministry Intern: Jake Miller will be joining us in 2009!
Jake Miller, who is a student at KCU, did a great job interviewing last weekend and playing saxophone. He will be joining us here at FCCN from May of 2009 till January 2010! Jake is a very talented tenor, piano player and saxophone player. I will be very excited to have Jake with us! Feel free to contact him at jmiller@kcu.edu.
Christmas Musical Sign Ups: Aug 31-Sept. 14
This week we will have some sign up tables in the gym for the Christmas Musical. Come down to the gymnasium this Sunday and check it out! Here's a tentative schedule of who will be at the table after each service:

2009 Vision: Serving the Community through the Arts and Acts of Kindness
In 2009, we'll be playing music in the community, and inviting people to come and join us on Sunday morning for worship. As a trial run, Louis Rose, James Geisler and I will be performing at Abshier Ice House in Newburgh next Friday night, September 12 at 8:30 P.M. The Abshier Ice House is the new name for "Cafe Newburgh," 17 W Jennings St, downtown Newburgh. I'm anxious to see how this goes! We invite you to come out and hear us play. We'll be doing original acoustic music in a "coffee house" setting.
Choir and orchestra begins September 7!
We're a week and a half away! Come and join us at 6:00 P.M. In the worship center as we preview the Christmas Musical!
