Concert for the Principal: Sunday night, April 25 from 6:00-7:30 P.M.!
We’re planning a concert that Sunday night to glorify God and use our talents for Him! We’ll be taking up an offering at the end of the night, and %100 of the money will go on the principal of the mortgage of the FCCN building.
We’ll have the choir/rhythm section, 541, XP, 1st-5th grade choir, Kings Kids and a few other groups too!
If you would like to sing or play for this concert, we’ll be having open tryouts at the end of February. Be thinking of something you might want to do and be ready to do the song by the end of February. More details coming soon!
Choir and rhythm section begins this Sunday night, January 10 at 6:00 P.M.!
Thanks for a great turnout for our first practice! Hoping to see many more this Sunday night!
We’ll be practicing “From the Inside Out” Here’s what the evening will look like:
6:00-6:15 Opening prayer, value of the month and quick look at the music for January 31.
6:15-6:35 Sectional practices (soprano, alto, tenor, bass, rhythm section)
6:35-6:55 1st-5th grade choir practice in the chapel, adult choir and rhythm section in the worship center
6:55-7:15 Prayer Groups
7:15-7:30 Results from the internal and external survey, closing prayer
1st-5th Grade Choir Practice this Sunday Night!
Stephanie White will be leading the choir this Spring! We’ve picked one of the songs: “Glory to God Forever” by Fee. (Who’s Fee? Is that a band or just one guy?)
Drop the elementary kids off in the elementary big room 6:00 on Sunday. They’ll learn about Jesus and grow in their faith, and they’ll practice some music from 6:35-6:55 in the chapel (we’ll have several adult chaperones to take them from the elementary big room to the chapel and back to the elementary big room again). They’ll be ready to be picked back up at 7:30 that evening.
Value of the Month: “Integrity”
We define integrity as “doing the right thing, even when it’s difficult.”
We talked about Joshua last week. He was a stand up guy. And he was a talented military general. He only lost one battle in his entire career, and that loss really wasn’t his fault. Consider Joshua chapter 7. Joshua and his men lose a battle (36 men died), and Joshua falls on his face before God, asking why. This was God’s response:
“The LORD said to Joshua, "Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?
God was never going to bless
