Choir leading worship this Sunday!

 

          You all sounded great during yesterday’s practice!  The 400 pound gorilla is in full swing through the trees. J  I am looking forward to leading worship with all of you.  Please remember to observe the dress code, park in the back of the parking lot and be in the worship center by 6:45 A.M.!  Remember that we do memorize everything we do.  I have a lot of work to do this week in memorizing 3 verses of the “new doxology.”

 

          We’ll also practice “Hosanna” that evening.  Here’s what the evening will look like:

 

          6:00-6:10 Opening prayer and value of the month

 

          6:10-6:30 Prayer groups

 

          6:30-6:50 Sectional practice (“Hosanna”)

 

          6:50-7:20 Choir/Rhythm section in worship center, 1^st-5^th grade choir in the chapel

 

          7:20-7:30 Talk about the “Concert of the Principle” or “principal,” depending on who you ask.

          I’m sifting through the resume stack right now.  Please pray for wisdom for me, the equippers and ultimately the elders in picking the right fit for FCCN.  It’s still weird being on this side of the desk. J
