Concert for the Principal: April 25 (6:00-7:30 P.M.)

 

          Thanks for taking some invite cards to invite your friends and family!  Lots of the disappeared on Sunday!  But there are still lots of them at both welcome centers.  You can use the worship ministry Facebook page to invite your friends.  Just go to the FCCN worship ministry Facebook page and click on events.

 

Last Choir and Rhythm Section practice this Sunday night!

 

          We’ll pick it up again in September.  I’ll miss all of you during the summer!

 

          The media team will be with us.  Here’s what the evening will look like:

 

          6:00-6:10 Opening prayer and value of the month

 

          6:10-6:40 Choir/rhythm section/media team Practice for Sunday morning, April 25

 

          6:40-7:00 Prayer groups, elementary choir practice in the chapel

 

          7:00-7:05 Elementary choir practice with the rhythm section on stage in the worship center

 

7:05-7:30 Choir/rhythm section/media team finish practice for Sunday

 

Unity Choir

 

          I’m excited to join the Unity choir this summer!  Kevin Brown will be leading and I look forward to learning a new style and having lots of fun!  I invite you to join us!  All practices will be at FCCN. Here are the details:

 

Monday May 10^tth           Informational Meeting/First Practice

 

Sunday, May 16^th           2^nd practice

Sunday, May 23^rd           3^rd practice

Sunday, May 30^th           4^th practice

 

Sunday, June 6^th            Combined Practice

 

Concert Date     Still to be determined, possibly June 13^th or 20^th? (Fathers Day) 6pm.

 

All rehearsals are from 6p-7:30 p  (not sure if childcare will be provided or not)

Remaining Practice Schedule for the Concert for the Principal

 

         Tuesday night, April 20 (6:00-8:00 P.M.) All Concert for the Principal participants (except for the Elementary choir and the King’s Kids choir): dress rehearsal because Guy will be taking a few pictures and making a promo video for Sunday.

 

          Friday night, April 23 (6:00-8:00 P.M.) All Concert for the Principal participants (except for the Elementary choir and the King’s Kids choir): dress rehearsal.

 

          Sunday morning: April 25 (Choir and rhythm section only)

 

          Sunday evening: April 25: Concert for the Principal!

 

Value of the Month: Ephesians 4:29

 

          Ephesians 4:29 says: “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

 

          I don’t think the Bible says that Ephesians 4:29 is a suggestion.  Sounds like a command to me. J  Imagine a worship ministry that only “built each other up” and never tore anyone down.  I believe that’s the worship ministry that we’re becoming!
