Worship Choir and Elementary Choir Leads Worship this Sunday! (Feb. 5)
We'll meet in the chapel at 8:45. If you have elementary students, please drop them off in the elementary big room by 8:45. Our volunteers will escort them to the chapel, then to the worship center and safely back to the elementary big room where you can pick them up.

No practice this Sunday Night (Feb. 5)
Enjoy the Superbowl, we'll see you next week.

Concert for Hope Tryouts
Come on, you know you want to do it. Be a big boy (or girl) and let me know when you want to try out. Anytime between 6:00-8:00 P.M. on February 28 in the worship center.

Brian Walker, our former worship ministry intern, has accepted a position at Suncrest Christian Church! Here's what he sent to me:

Hey All,

I just wanted to let you know that I've accepted a position at Suncrest Christian Church. It's a multisite church in Northwest Indiana. I'll be the campus worship arts director for the Hobart campus.

Thank you so much for your support when I was an intern with you. I look back at my time with you as a great time of fun and growth in my life. If you would pray for me as I start this new adventure that would be fantastic. Especially pray for the hearts of the people up here that together we can worship God fully with our entire lives. Thanks again for all you've done. I hope things are well in Newburgh and that you all continue to make a positive impact for the Kingdom.

Worship and Elementary Choir Begins this Sunday Night!

Here we go! I'm excited to get together with you all again. We'll be together from 6:00-7:30 every Sunday night except for Superbowl Sunday, Spring break week and Easter Sunday evening. Drop the elementary students off in the elementary big room, and we'll see them in the worship center with us at 7:00.

Concert for Hope: May 6

We'll be doing another concert on Sunday night, May 6 to raise awareness about the meth and prescription drug problem in our area. We'll have many special guests including the Newburgh Police Chief, Brett Sprinkle. Anyone who worships regularly at FCCN is welcome to try out for a special number in the concert, tryouts will be on Tuesday night, February 28 in the worship center.

I went with a group of guys up to the IU/OSU basketball game in Bloomington on Saturday. It was loud and crazy at Assembly Hall! A lot of people had on a t-shirt that said "We're back." I like that statement. Do you know why the IU basketball program is back? It's "back" because the coaches and front office staff are doing things the right way: with integrity. That integrity had been missing for about a decade, and all of that pent-up frustration was released at about 120 decibels at Assembly hall on Saturday night. I heard the message loud and clear: integrity matters.

Christmas Musical on T.V.

A 30 minute version of the "Christmas Love Stockings"musical will air on WTSN digital Channel 36 and Analog Channel 41 at 10:30 am Christmas day. WTSN is also on Insight cable channel 186 in Evansville, Time Warner channels 14 in Warrick Co., 3 in Owensboro, & digital channel 306. Also on WOW cable channel 105. It will also run on the WOW and Insight public access channels are various times.

Christmas Musical

Thanks for helping make the musical a huge success! It was the best year ever for the Love Stockings. Lots of families will be blessed this Christmas.

And it was so much fun! How great is it to serve God and have a blast doing it?

I am going home this evening to play some Xbox 360 tonight. Thank you all for the great gift!

The Worship Choir and Elementary Choir will begin again on Sunday night, January 15. The orchestra will start up again in March.

New run through practice time on Sunday mornings!

Beginning January 1, our run through time on Sunday mornings will be at 7:30 A.M. (no more 6:45 A.M., hallelujah!). We'll run through the service from 7:30-8:30. Then pray and have our Bible study in the green room from 8:30-9:00.

I want to thank you all for your maturity during the last few years: we had to practice at a very early time. You all did not complain, you just did what needed to be done. I hold you in high regard! It's a pleasure to serve with you. It will also be a pleasure to see you at 7:30 A.M. as well :)

Media Team at Sweet CeCe's

Sweet CeCe’s FundraiserThe Media Team is having a fundraiser at Sweet CeCe’s Frozen Yogurt and Treats on November 15 from 11 a.m. until closing. 10 percent of all sales during that time will go to the Media Team to be used to upgrade our wireless network at FCC so that we have coverage in all areas of the building for our members and guests to use. Sweet CeCe’s offers great tasting frozen yogurt and toppings in a variety of flavors and is located on High Pointe Drive in front of the Newburgh Wal-Mart. Value of the Month: Memorization

I had to memorize a very wordy song last Sunday: "Forever Reign." Here's the 2nd verse:

You are peace, You are peace when my fear is crippling
You are true, You are true, even in my wandering
You are joy, You are joy, You're the reason that I sing

You are life, You are life, even death has lost its sting

Wow, that's a lot! Memorization experts will say that you need to come up with a crazy mental picture to memorize something like that. The crazier the better. So here was mine, picture this:

Paul Peirce (nicknamed "the truth") dressed in a 70's tie die shirt, bell bottoms and a peace symbol, overjoyed about winning the NBA championship while eating a bowl a Life Cereal while the pro wrestler "Sting" is about to hit him with a chair shot.

That picture helped me remember "peace" (tiedie), "true" (Paul Pierce), "joy" (winning the championship), "life" (cereal), "and death has lost it's 'Sting'" (my favorite WCW wrestler).

Yeah, right now you're saying "wow Phill, you need help. What's it like in that brain of yours?" Well, I'll admit it's a scary place sometimes, but that little trick worked! I was able to sing the entire song with confidence . If I need to memorize a list of words, that's the best way for me to do it, and it worked for Sunday.

Here's the kicker: having all of the words memorized helps you have a much better time on stage. You can focus on God and let Him speak to you. And because I had my words memorized, it allowed God to speak clearly on Sunday morning. That was important last Sunday, because last week something happen that really brought me down: I had a big disappointment. Honestly, it still hurts thinking about it now. But God was able to minister to me through those very words: "God is peace when my fear is crippling, God is true even in my wandering."

So I encourage you to have your words memorized. Why? Because when you've got them automatic, God can speak to your heart, instead of you worrying about "what's that next word?

Value of the Month: Memorization

I memorize all of our music every Sunday, unless I'm playing a song on the piano. It's simple, I just run through it every day. Repetition helps me a lot. Although it's probably the most important part of memorization, it will only take you so far. Here's another idea:

Move. While you're memorizing chords or words, take a walk, move around the room, go to the Angel Mounds with me. Those endorphins will kick in, and you'll have a much easier time memorizing than if you stay seated.

Value of the Month: Thou Shall Not Covet

"You shall not covet...anything that belongs to your neighbor" (Exodus 20:17)

The Bible says that in the spring time, when kings go off to war, Israel's army went to war with the Ammonites, but king David stayed in Jerusalem (2 Samuel 11).

Uh, really? What's your deal David? Not feeling it?

Nope, David stays behind in Jerusalem, and he gets bored. David gets out of bed one evening and goes up on the roof of the palace. You know the rest of the story, David makes one of his biggest mistakes. He covets Uriah's wife Bathsheba, and disaster eventually befalls his family as a result.

Here's a simple solution to David's coveting problem: go do what you're called to do, David: go with the army! David was a talented warrior. And it's spring time, the weather is like it is today: low humidity and sunny! Why not have an adventure with your boys David? You'd rather lay around the palace? Seriously? "The Lazy Song" won't be written for at least another 3000 years. Come on David...

Hind sight is 20/20, but what if one of David's close friends just said to him: "how come you're not joining us in the war? Aren't you the one who killed Goliath? Isn't it a little early to retire? My wife would sleep better knowing you're out there swinging your sword with me..." Maybe, just maybe, Uriah could have done that. Think about it.

My point is this: instead of coveting someone else's stuff or spouse or talent, focus on what YOU are good at and what God has called YOU to do. And if you see somone wandering around with nothing to do but covet, invite them on the adventure with you! The modern day Uriah and Bathsheba (and their kids) who live next door will be grateful.

Praise Team practices move back to Tuesday night

We're moving practices back to Tuesday starting next week: Sept. 13. Modern will still practice from 6:00-8:00, Classic from 8:00-8:45.

Random thought: we've had these practices on just about every night of the week in the 6 years I've served here. What say ye to Friday nights next year? No? How 'bout Monday mornings at 9:00 A.M.? Guy Hall and I would like that. :)

Worship Choir and Elementary Choir begins this Sunday night at 6:00!

We'll see you in the chapel, bring your red white and blue for the first night! Drop the elementary kids off in the elementary big room. They'll be part of the Sunday night programming up there, then join us for practice at 7:00 P.M.

Value of the Month: Matthew 18

¹⁵ “If your brother or sister sins against you, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. ¹⁶ But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’¹⁷ If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector."

I love Jesus' words here. Especially the part that says, "just between the two of you." How wonderful it is when someone pulls you aside privately and tells you what you need to hear for your own good? Well, probably not completely wonderful, but it's a lot better than 30 other people hearing about it before you do.

Jesus' command for us is simple and clear: first go to the person who did you wrong. Do it privately and try to work it out in love. If you call yourself a Christian, a Christ follower, then you gotta do it that way.

Choir begins Sunday night, Sept 11

The worship choir begins in the chapel a week from Sunday! We'll be crankin' in up this fall: we've got some really upbeat songs planned. The elementary choir will help us lead worship every time we're up to lead worship. So bring your kids with you!

If you play in the orchestra you can pick up your music on September 11 as well, but we won't begin practicing until November.

Choir begins Sept. 11: 6:00-7:30 in the Chapel

I'm getting excited about choir starting up on Sept. 11! Remember
that survey we took last spring? Well, here are some changes we'll be
making as a result:

- No more 6:45 A.M. Rehearsals! We'll warm up in
the chapel shortly before the 9:15 worship.

- Theme nights: football night, Hawaiian Luau night,
just for fun.

- The elementary choir will join us for every practice from
7:00-7:20. They will also help us lead worship on October 2, November 6
and the Christmas musical on December 3 & 4.

- "What do you do in 2 minutes?" If you want, you'll have a
chance to share what you do for a living for 2 minutes with everyone in
the choir.

- Practices will be in the chapel:

- it reverberates more with a community feel

- It's less threatening to the elementary choir when the join us

- Still lots of room for more growth

Similar to last year, the Orchestra will begin practicing with us in
November. However, when we sing music with the orchestra, we'll need to
practice in the worship center.

2011 Christmas Musical

Our theme will be the Christmas Love stockings, where we give to needy
families so they can have a nice Christmas. We'll also be having tryouts
for anyone who would like to sing/play a song in the musical. Got any
ideas? This is your chance to share a Christmas song for a worthy
cause. Tryouts will be in early October.

Value of the Month: Take a Break

Consider what Elijah did: he had a huge mountaintop experience at mount
Carmel. Then he took at least 80 days off from being a prophet (1 Kings 19).
You know why? Because he was exhausted and scared. Queen Jezebel had
threatened his life, and he wanted to quit. But this is the really cool part:
after he had told God to take his life, an angel shows up with 2 cakes, and
Elijah eats both of them, really!

Dude, 2 cakes, all on your own? Seriously?

But notice what happens after that. Elijah travels 40 days and 40 nights
(on foot) to the mountain of God. That must have been some pretty awesome
cake.

The point is, Elijah needed a break: he had run ragged in ministry too
long, and he hit an emotional wall. So God was gracious to give him what he
needed. Not only some amazing cake, but a fellow prophet to help him and
succeed him.

Maybe we need to do what Elijah did. Eat too much cake? Well, maybe, it
depends on the quality of the cake. :) But maybe it's as simple asking God for
help, and taking some time off. Feel free to take a break and get recharged.

The trip to Mexico was awesome. 80 degrees, sunshine, low humidity. We did a free medical clinic, build a house, added an addition to another house, taught some Bible classes, and spoke a lot of Spanish. Ask me about it, and I'll try to answer in English :)

Christmas Musical: December 3-4!

Our Christmas Musical this year will be about the "Christmas love stockings," giving to needy families in our community so they can have a nice Christmas. It will be an exciting way to be the hands and feet of Jesus to families in our community.

It will also be earlier in December: I'm trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people in the worship ministry so we all have the rest of December to do the 100 other things we all need to do in the Christmas Season :)

I'm taking requests for our musical: shoot me any songs or any other creative ideas.

I'm fine, really. I'm healing well, praise God! The doc says I should be off of crutches sometime in July and should be running and jumping by September. Thank you all for your support! 12 tacos were delivered to my house for lunch today. Arriba!

Vacation Starts Tomorrow

I've finished all the worship music up to and including June 19, you can pick your music up in the green room this Sunday if you want. I'll be staying home for vacation to avoid any other trucks :) I'll see you in worship on June the 5. Yes, "leading worship with crutches" is the name of the game for the month of June.

Value of the Month: I'm a 10

Serve where you are talented and passionate. Do what you love AND what you are good at. Life is too short to spend your days doing something you hate. So put your hand to the plow that brings you joy and that you can command with your God given talent. You were created unique, you are God's masterpiece! (Ephesians 2:10).

Praise God for Great Volunteers!

After breaking my leg on Thursday, it was great to attend the 10:45 worship on Sunday: the vocalists, instrumentalists and media team did a great job! It's like I wasn't even scheduled to lead worship that day. Doug Minor did a great job running the early practice, Bob Walters led worship very well in my absence, and Scott Lehman and Brenda Esparza stepped up to play guitar and piano while I sat in the pews and enjoyed a waterfall of worship. What a great team we have here: if I (literally) get hit by a truck, we continue to honor God with excellence! I praise God for all of you!

Songs

I was amazed at how God works: 3 weeks before my accident, God places "everlasting God" in my mind to open the May 8 worship service. So I'm standing there with crutches and we sing "strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord... You are the everlasting God...You're the defender of the weak, you comfort those in need..." He does work in amazing ways.

I'll be planning the June 12 worship service at home tomorrow (Thursday). Do you have any songs God has placed in your mind for that day? Let me know, just don't get into an accident 3 days beforehand :)

Value of the Month "I'm a 10"

1 Corinthians 12:27-28 "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance and of different kinds of tongues."
You are a 10 in something because God created you that way! You were created with specific talents, quirks, desires and gifts. God has given you a specific personality type. He created you special. As Ephesians 2:10 says: "for we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
God created me with the specific talents of focus, vision and creative thinking. So some specific careers are best suited for me. And just maybe, as Ephesians says, God planned them for me long before I was born.

The top 5 for me:

1) Minister (good to know, huh?) :)
2) Pilot
3) Special Forces (Green Berets, S.W.A.T., etc.)
4) Management
5) Computer Programming

(Right now you are thinking: What on earth does ministry and special forces have to do with each other? The guy in the S.W.A.T. truck has the same basic personality as my worship minister? Yikes. I'll bet Phill has his reasons for telling us this, but I'm about to quit reading and post some random stuff on Facebook instead. Really? I mean REALLY?)
The answer to your question is . . . yes! For many reasons, the answer is yes. I'll give you one: a career as a minister and special forces requires a level head at all times (2 Timothy 4:5, ask your cousin in the Navy). The ability to think ahead, remain emotionally stable, and keep the mission of the organization in the forefront at all times are imperative for both careers. While the skills are vastly different, the basic talents and innate personality traits mesh well.

St. Mary's Planetree

St. Mary's contacted me last week about their planetree program: they would like us to play some music at the hospital for their patients: their goal is to "offer a wide range of healing arts opportunities to those we care for, and we are always looking to add to our roster of performers."

How sweet it is to get a compliment! Can't you feel it shining on your face: UNLIKE THE SUN THAT WE HAVEN'T SEEN FOR WEEKS?!?!?!? (Forgive me, that wasn't very Ephesians 4:29 of me).
When we talk about Ephesians 4:29 in our home, my 5-year-old son Nathan tells us to "only say kind things." That's true to a point. But sometimes you've got to give constructive criticism in a loving way. For example, you all "built me up according to my needs" in the survey this month. Many of you had some great things to say, and you said them with tact, both the compliments and the criticisms. I so appreciated what you all had to say and look forward to mulling them over this summer as we make some changes to our choir/orchestra/rhythm section this fall. My prayer is that we will "benefit those who listen" to us much better in September. :)

Sing During Sound Check

Our media team has asked our vocalists sing during sound check instead of just speaking. This will allow us to have a clearer sound with each individual vocalist. Sing any song you want: maybe your favorite 80's song, your kid's Disney sing along CD, "The Stand" from last week or your own original (Louis, Ty). Baby Dedication

We'll be holding a special baby dedication on a Sunday afternoon in August. We need someone to sing special music for it, so let me know if you are interested!

We are commanded here to only speak about what is helpful to build each other up, not tear each other down.

Have you ever had anyone in your life that was an encourager? Always speaking in terms of what you needed at the moment? It makes me feel good to think about that person in my life.

Now switch gears and think about the kid from your middle school who constantly cut you down. You know who they are. You can probably see their face. Some things they said may still hurt today. Sometimes I wonder about that kid in my life, but I haven't gone searching for him on Facebook, have you?

How do you want people to remember you? The middle school kid or the encourager?

Think about Cody and his camp by the green river. "Old cody junior took me over, said you're gonna find the world is a smouldrin', and if you get lost, come on home to green river." Be that guy: be an encourager. Because who really wants to go back to middle school? :)

Thanks to Everyone who Helped with the Concert for the Family!
Special thanks to all the vocalists, instrumentalists, media team, greeters, etc., that helped make the concert a success! $10,757 was raised and some donations are still coming in this week. We took a huge amount of non-perishable items to the Newburgh food pantry this morning: it was such a blessing to interact with those folks. I praise God for all of you! “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” –Jesus, Matthew 25:40

No Worship choir/orchestra/rhythm Section Practice this Sunday Night.

Concert for the Family this Sunday night at 6:00!

Come ready for a wonderful evening! Bring your non-perishable items for the Newburgh food pantry: especially peanut butter, jelly, canned meat and soup. Also come prepared for an offering for families in crisis in Warrick county. Children's programming will be provided during the concert, and many of them will be on stage singing!

Practice Schedule this Week

6:00-8:00 Wednesday night tech rehearsal: for all soloists, small groups, media and instrumentalists except for the kings kids, elementary choir, and those only singing in the worship choir. (no childcare provided for the tech rehearsal)

6:00-8:00 Dress Rehearsal (childcare WILL be provided for the dress rehearsal). We'll also be taking up a special offering that evening that will be applied to the concert for the family offering on Sunday night. Also, bring your non-perishable items that Friday night and we'll leave them on stage inside and in front the house.

The Conquerers Quartet, Ron Rhodes, the preaching staff and the Unity Choir will not be at any of the practices this week, but they will join us for the concert on Sunday.

NO choir/orchestra/rhythm section practice: March 20
Because of spring break (and concert for the family hangover), we will not practice March 20. We'll resume practice on March 27.

I think a good example of excellence in worship ministry was the "Concert for the Principal" last year. Every song was well prepared and well done at the concert. It felt good and it was a pleasant walk home for me after the concert, knowing that we had done our best for God's glory.

Giving all for the glory of our King! Observe the dress code, park in the back, drop off the kiddos in the nursery and be in the worship center by 6:45! We'll enjoy breakfast together in the gym at 7:45, so come hungry. Also remember that you'll be able to go home after the offering song in the 10:45 Modern worship, so you can have an early lunch after a big breakfast :)

Concert for the Family Dress Rehearsal: Friday Night, March 11 6:00-8:00 P.M. (childcare provided)
Well all be together on Friday evening, March 11 do run through the entire concert. I'd also like us to come prepared with our non-perishable items to donate, as well as be ready to give an offering that evening for the families in crisis in Warrick County. Let's set an example of giving for our church family.

Woolly Wednesday: March 2 (6:00 P.M.)
We'll be working on the music for this Sunday March 6, as well as "There Will Come a Day." Come on over to my house if you would like some extra practice.

I'm putting the flow together for the concert, I think it will be a great night! We'll be collecting non-perishable items for the Newburgh food pantry, as well as collecting a special offering to help families in crisis in Warrick county.

Value of the Month: Be on Time

Last week I was working on some music in my office and totally lost track of time. Usually I set an alarm for meetings because I can easily get lost in a project. I showed up to a meeting 10 minutes late and immediately apologized. No excuse.

It's always easier on everyone when the offender apologizes up front. It deflates the tension from the conversation and ultimately relationship stronger if the apology is sincere. So, in the words of Mark Twain: "Always acknowledge a fault. This will catch those in authority off their guard, and will give you an opportunity to commit more." :)

Value of the Month: be on time

I choose February as the month to talk about "being on time" because it's the shortest month. I only have to talk about it for 28 days :)

A glimpse into my syche: my love language is "acts of service." So what does that mean? It's simple, really. When I ask you to something and you do it, my love tank is filled up, I'm in a good mood. Flip side: I ask you to do something (like "memorize your music" or "be here at 6:45") and you choose not to, it really grates on me.

So one of the reasons I love ministry here at FCCN is because when I ask you all to do something, you do it. There's not a bunch of hand-ringing or flip-flopping. Thanks so much for that! It is such a blessing to me.

I try to exemplify this value for you every practice. If practice starts at 6:45, I'm going to have doors open, lights on and childcare ready so you can be in the worship center ready to go. I'll also start promptly and finish on time because I respect your time too! I value you as a volunteer and friend.

Oh yes we are! For the upcoming series: "Extreme Make Over: Family Addition" and "Renovating Relationships" we will be building a house on the stage. This Sunday will be a construction zone, the next week we will lay the foundation, the next week we'll put up the frame, etc. Want to help? Let me know. It should be fun.

Trying Something New

We'll be trying a new vocal team style 3 times this quarter. Right now, we have the choir, the 541 guys group, and some of the larger mixed vocal teams as well. Starting this Sunday (and once a month after that), we'll have a smaller vocal team with just 2 or three vocalists. We'll do more of the 2 part harmony and syncopated rhythms prevalent in modern worship today. Anyway, we'll try it this quarter and see what happens. Orchestra Begins Sunday Night, February 20 at 6:00
We'll add the orchestra beginning February 20. They will join us for the concert for the family and a few selected special Sundays. If you would like to play in the orchestra, the music is ready, just ask me about it and I'll give you a copy of the music.

We'll be doing a concert for the family, similar to the "concert for the principal" last year. However, this year will be raising funds for families in crisis in Warrick county.

What music are we doing for this concert? Well, that's up to you! Do you have a song God is calling you to do? We'll have open tryouts on Tuesday night, February 1 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the worship center. Please email me for a tryout time. I loved the variety last year, and it as great to hear lots of songs that I did not personally pick. What a blessing to hear the heart and talent of so many people!

Christmas Musical: The Day After
Ahhh. Can you feel the relief? 2365 people came to see the musical last weekend. And hopefully many more will see it on Fox 7 Christmas day at 6:00 P.M. Thanks again to everyone who helped make it a success!

Christmas Musical this Weekend!

I think we’re ready to go and I’m excited to tell Jesus’ story! Call time is at 6:00 on Saturday night in the chapel (call time means you’re dressed and ready to go, btw). We’ll worship together, warm up or voices/instruments, then I’ll have something exciting to share with you. Then musical is at 7:00. On Sunday morning, call time will be at 8:30 A.M. in the worship center: we’ll take communion together and we’ll also snap a picture of everybody. Then we’ll do the musical 2 more times at 9:15 & 10:45.

Become friends with that rewind feature on your CD player. Try to memorize small chunks at a time. Listen to a few lines, rewind it, listen to it again. Repetition of the smaller parts of a whole is the best way to go.

Hands and Feet of Jesus to Families

Our church was contacted by a lady who needs help moving herself and some children into another apartment. It’s a local move here in Newburgh. I’m getting some guys together to help her on Saturday morning. Do you want to help? We’ll meet by the pool of the Spring View apartments, 4166 Bell Road in Newburgh behind Schnucks at 9:00 A.M. Ron Rhoads says it’s going to be a nice day to move!

Night of Worship this Saturday night

Brian Walker and Nathan Logston are leading this, and I’m looking forward to just coming to worship! Come join us this coming Saturday from 7-9 for a night of worship in the worship center. No childcare will be provided. We'll be walking and worshipping through the story of God: Creation, Incarnation and Recreation. We'll encounter God in a fresh way through various elements such as a prayer walk, music, and other interactive elements. Come expecting to meet God and experiencing His story. And Doug Minor will be playing the djembe, so I’m excited to see that.

One of the best ways to memorize something is to involve other people in the process. Tell them you’re trying to memorize it and they’ll be happy to help you. Why, because in these days of Google and Iphones, the lost art of memorization often arouses people’s curiosity. For example, I was quoting the 1^st verse of Ephesians 4 “as a prisoner ‘of’ the Lord instead of “a prisoner ‘for’ the Lord” until my memorization buddy corrected me. I’d hate to quote scripture with the wrong words…

We’ll meet in the dining room at 5:00. Here are the solos:

“Gloria” measures 62-92 male or female. Add a 2^nd singer for a duet at measure 77.

“God Coming Down” female or male solo throughout.

“Slow Fade” female or male solo. We can drop the key a bit so a bass or alto can sing it, no big deal.

Value of the Month: Thou Shall Not Covet

“You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor" (Exodus 20:17).

The obvious application is to not covet someone else’s talent. Uh, okay. Easier said than done.

You know the best way to not covet your neighbor’s solo? David Rinehart at Crossroads told me this: Pray for them. It’s hard to covet somebody’s solo when you’re lifting their gift up to God. Some good advice! Just have a little talk with Jesus…

541 Singing at the Mt. Zion Apple Fest this Saturday

The 541 guys group will be singing at the AEP Honey Creek Farm this Saturday from 10:30-11:45. New Country and K-Love music is the name of the game! Arts and crafts from all over the tri-state will be on display along with a variety of food and Indiana’s largest apple pie. They’ll also have antique tractors and gas engines. So pack up the family and drive west on Saturday morning. The Apple Fest is at 231 at County Road 500 North. Shoot me an email if you need more info.

Woolly Wednesday Tonight!

We’ll be working on “God Coming Down” and “Joy to the World.” Come on over if you’d like some more practice! 5063 E. Sherwood Dr.

Solo Tryouts

We’ll have tryouts on Sunday night, Oct. 24 at 5:00 P.M. in the dining room. We’ll need a soloist and an understudy for each solo.

Here are the needed solos for each song:

Gloria measures 62-92 male or female. Add a 2^nd singer for a duet at measure 77.

God Coming Down: female or male solo throughout.

O Holy Night: Karen Mooney is already the soloist and Michele Rodriguez is the understudy.

Slow Fade: female or male solo. We can drop the key a bit so a bass or alto can sing it, no big deal

Christmas Shoes: Todd Kuester is singing the solo since he’ll be playing the lead character in the musical.

Jesus Saves: female solo measures 12-52. Male solo with choir like CD starting at measure 56. Although it’s not written, I’d like the male soloist to sing it like the CD.

Value of the Month: Thou Shall Not Covet

“You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor" (Exodus 20:17)

So I’m commanded by God not to covet my neighbor’s house. That’s ok, I like my house. I’m trying to pay off the house I have anyway. I’m also not to covet my neighbor’s wife. No problem there either: I love my wife and wouldn’t have married anyone else. I’m not to covet my neighbor’s servant, ox or donkey. No biggie, because I don’t know anyone who keeps or a donkey or an ox or a maid servant. Do you? I live in Newburgh. They can keep their donkey. Although with the price of milk nowadays and 3 kids, it might be nice to have a few goats. Goat’s milk isn’t bad.

But notice the last phrase: anything that belongs to your neighbor. Anything? Like my neighbor’s Mustang? (Their car, btw, not the horse or donkey). How 'bout their bank account, or their singing ability? Hmmm, I may have some work to do there…

We have 2 old time gas pumps for the next sermon series: “Fill’er up.” We borrowed them from a really nice family in Lynnville. They traded 2 goats for 2 gas pumps. These pumps are fully restored and are worth thousands of dollars each. That’s quite a deal!

Value of the Month: Matthew 18

I’ve heard of instances all month where you all have been following Jesus’ command from Matthew 18! Way to go!

So just to recap, here’s Peterson’s message paraphrase that puts it all in perspective: "If a fellow believer hurts you, go and tell him—work it out between the two of you. If he listens, you've made a friend. If he won't listen, take one or two others along so that the presence of witnesses will keep things honest, and try again. If he still won't listen, tell the church. If he won't listen to the church, you'll have to start over from scratch, confront him with the need for repentance, and offer again God's forgiving love” (Matthew 18:15-17: the message paraphrase).

This value is most important: if we follow it, we’ll have a great time together being the hands and feet of Jesus to families. If we don’t follow it, we’ll have major trouble, and just won’t be fun anymore. Think ‘bout it.

Woolly Wednesday Tomorrow! (September 22 at 6:00)

Come on over to my house if you’d like a little more practice for choir. 5063 E. Sherwood Dr., Newburgh. It’s for anyone who can’t make the Sunday practices or would like a little more practice. It’s also for anyone who would like to play some video games after we’re finished practicing.

So, what is Woolly Wednesday? The best response I heard about Woolly Wednesday is: “uncivilized and unruly: rough and boisterous in a way that is reminiscent of the frontier days of the American West.” I like that definition! It’s straight from the dictionary. But tomorrow night will probably be nothing like that. Curious? Come on over tomorrow night.

We’re starting a new practice for those who want to be involved in choir but Sundays nights do not fit into their schedule. I want as many people to use their singing talents as possible, and I thought, “how big a deal would it be to have some folks over at my house for an hour every other week?” It will be a relaxed atmosphere, but I will expect everyone who attends Woolly Wednesday to already know their parts and be ready to sing. I don’t mind to plunk a few parts here and there, but I’ll expect everyone to do some work on the music ahead of time before you get to the Foust house. Woolly Wednesday is also for anyone who would like a little more practice after the Sunday practices. So come on out to my house from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Shoot me an email and I’ll give you directions, it’s no biggie. The dates for Woolly Wednesdays are: September 22, October 6, October 20, November 3 and November 17. In December, we’ll need everyone to attend the various practices for the Christmas Musical.

1st Choir & Rhythm Section Practice This Sunday Night!

I am more excited about this Christmas musical than any other musical we have ever done! It will be family friendly and family inspiring! The dates for the Christmas Musical are December 18-19.

Come on out to the worship center at 6:00 this Sunday night. We'll sing, talk and laugh together! The elementary choir will practice that evening as well, as well as programming for all ages, so bring the whole family!

Value of the Month: Matthew 18

¹⁵"If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. ¹⁶But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' ¹⁷If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

Notice the flow of what Jesus is telling us to do: you go to the person in love first: sit down one one one and talk it over. If that doesn't resolve it, bring a few others along and again sit down in love. I've been in the church for 33 years now, and I've NEVER seen it go to the third stage IF stage one and two are handled correctly and in love.

I have a great story to share about this value tomorrow night for our first choir rehearsal. I hope to see you at 6:00!

It’s just 12 days away! The sun will be setting in the west and the building will provide some wonderful shade. No direct sunshine, just a nice setting with music, icecream, and the joy of hearing children play in the inflatable bounce house. I hope to see you there!

Value of the Month: I’m a 10!

We must all serve in the role for which we are both passionate and talented. It’s got to be something you love to do, and it’s got to be something you’re good at too. Passion = the thing you dream about doing even when you’re not doing it. Talent = “it just comes naturally to me.” Or as Marcus Buckingham said in one of my favorite books First Break All the Rules, “talent is a recurring pattern of thought, feeling, or behavior that can be productively applied.”

A good example of this is our very own Fritz Kaufmann. He is transitioning from Children’s Ministry to Community Care here at FCCN. It’s the perfect role for him. I’ve seen him in action at the hospital and on long trips, and he is fantastic at making people feel welcome, have fun, and stay on task at the same time. He has a passion for serving people and talent in community care. This new role fits his talent and passion like a glove. I’m excited to see him flourish in this new adventure.

So, if you love what you’re doing, and you’re good at it, you’re probably in the right role. If not, try to find the place where your passion and talent come together like the old Beatles song. “Come together, right now, over me, shum dom do ba doo bom!”

Okay, so what if I feel like I’m in the wrong role? Let’s start with a story from sports: Gary Payton. He was a very talented point guard. In 2003 he joined the Los Angeles Lakers. Sounds like a good move, right? Wrong. Gary’s best fit was in a pick and roll offense, not the L.A. triangle offense. Gary struggled in that system. He was simply in the wrong role. The result? The Lakers lost in the NBA finals to the Detroit Pistons. Obviously there were other factors that led to the Laker’s demise, but any hard core basketball junkie will tell you that the Gary Payton acquisition was the wrong move for the Laker nation.

The good news? Payton finally won an NBA championship in 2006 with the Miami Heat. They had an offensive/defensive strategy that fit his gifts. Their offense flowed better with Payton at the point, and he hit two crucial game winning shots (nba.com).

You can probably see where I’m headed with this. Gary Payton was extremely talented. He just was in the wrong role in Los Angeles. What about you? Are you frustrated in your current role? Do you feel like you have more talent to give, it’s just not in your current role? Think and pray about it. Then pick up your cell and shoot me a text. I think we’ll have a bounce house inflatable there too. The VBS carnival inspired me. J I’ll also take on all challengers in a rock skipping contest at the pond. I’ll bring about 100 skipping stones from the Ohio river that day. I’m so looking forward to this!

We’ll need a few folks to help with check in at the welcome center. We’ll need administratively gifted, friendly people with blond hair. Okay, you don’t have to be blond, but gifts in administration and hospitality are a must. Any takers?

Okay, here it comes. THE MOST controversial value of the month in the worship ministry. It always promotes a lively discussion. I’m looking forward to it!

Since last August, the worship ministry has continued to grow in number and in talent. We have more folks serving in media, singing, playing, leadership, etc. than ever before. Praise the Lord! But as we have added to our number, many of us have needed to become more specialized in the area that we are most talented and passionate. For me, that’s leadership, creative thinking, vocals and piano. There are some other things that I’ve needed to let go of because we now have some folks that are better suited for that role.

Consider what happened this past June: Brian Walker joined us as the worship ministry intern. Up until then I played a lot of rhythm guitar. But since Brian is here I no longer do that. Why? Because Brian is a much better guitar player. It just makes sense. I’m not threatened by that. It’s allowed me to focus on other areas where God has best suited me with talent. So in the worship ministry “body of Christ,” I’m an ear, he’s a nose. No big deal.

Ah, but you say, “Phill, it’s not quite that simple. What if I really enjoy what I’m doing, but not very good at it?” We’ll tackle that next week. Until then, Google the 2003-2004 Los Angeles Lakers starting 5. J

We’ll begin eating ice cream at 6:00, so bring the whole family! Donations for ice cream will be accepted, but not required. The building will provide some nice shade so no sun block will be needed!

The 541 guys group will start singing around 6:15. We’ll also have testimonies from people who are living out the FCCN vision of “being the hands a feet of Jesus to families.” The XP band will also be playing some great music to close out the night.

Fit to Live!

FCCN received a sizable grant from Welborn Baptist Foundation, Inc. to begin this great ministry at no cost to you! We’ll have lots of activities and motivation through the coming months. Value of the Month: Be Gracious with Criticism

James 1:19: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

Everyone on staff at FCCN took an individual personality profile, and we got the results today. They were very humbling for me. It describes my strengths and weaknesses, and it’s right on. There’s no hiding from it. It’s sitting on my desk right now, looking back at me like the Geiko eyes/stack of $ bills. J Two statements in particular that really grabbed me:

- “When given the opportunity to initiate a project, you will strive for quality as well as timely results” (I like that one!).

- “Try to reduce the rigidly of your thinking, along with the need to be exactly right” (ouch, that’s gonna leave a mark).

Seriously, I’m thankful for the feedback; it will make me a better worship minister if I work through it and make the needed changes. Deep down inside, I want to lead this worship ministry better. There are some things that I’ll need to improve on.

Sometimes criticism is valid when it’s done in love. When you field criticism from someone you respect, and they really have your best interest in mind, then listen up! Make the changes and grow from it. Speaking of which, it’s time for me to read through that entire personality profile…

Value of the Month: Be Gracious with Criticism

James 1:19: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”

We’ll all face two types of criticism: one is valid criticism, one is not. This week let’s tackle the criticism that’s not valid. This type is often done flippantly and maliciously.

The simple fix is to dismiss it and not let it ruin your day. But in reality, it still hurts! The fix is not that easy. Those stinging words still linger in your memory, pestering you like poison ivy, or the dog that barked all night while you were trying to sleep.

My wife Jennifer brought home The Shack from the library yesterday, and I was reminded of that great story and one cool conversation at the end of the book that helped me with forgiveness about 2 years ago when I read “The Shack.” Here’s a quick synopsis of this fictional book to get you up to speed. According the dust jacket: “Mack Phillips’s youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep on the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for the weekend.”

In a conversation with God, Mack is asked to forgive the man who hurt his daughter. With great emotion Mack answers that he does not want to forgive, and doesn’t feel like he could anyway. The next quote in this fictional book is priceless. In this imaginary story, God says “Forgiveness is first for you, the forgiver…to release you from something that will eat you alive; that will destroy your joy and your ability to love fully and openly” (225).

Mack later asks that if he forgives that man, does that mean that he can be trusted with his children? No. Forgiveness does not equal trust or a relationship. Nor does it mean that you forget about the wrong. According to The Shack: “Forgiveness in no way requires that you trust the one you forgive. But should they finally confess and repent, you will discover a miracle in your own hear that allows you to reach out and begin to build between you a bridge or reconciliation. And sometimes—and this may by incomprehensible to you right now—that road may even take you to the miracle of fully restored trust” (226).

This book helped me so much 2 years ago with some forgiveness issues I had with another person that has long since been reconciled. It worked for me, I’m praying it will help you out too. One word of caution: The Shack is meant to be a fictional story. It’s not the Bible, so don’t read every line as absolute truth: it’s just a story. Read the Bible as God’s Word, the final authority. In short, the Bible says “forgive, as the Lord forgave you” (Colossians 3:13).

Worship Ministry Summer Party: This Sunday, July 11, from 3:00-7:30 @ 8111 Shore Drive Newburgh

I appreciate you all so much! I just want to say thanks for everything you do. Here’s a way to say thanks: we’ll swim, play volleyball, and have the swing sets for the kiddos, ladder ball and some other fun stuff. We’ll eat at 5:00. Swimming, volleyball, etc. This is for everyone in the worship ministry and their families! We’ll provide the meat and the drinks, tenors bring the dessert.

Maps will be at both welcome centers this Sunday morning. Special thanks to Bob and Brenda Walters for having us all over to their back yard!

Value of the Month: Be Gracious with Criticism

James 1:19 says, my dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. This was the basic idea in Steven Covey’s popular book “the 7 habits of highly effective people.” One of the most important habits was “seek first to understand, then to be understood.” Let your friend express their entire point of view and try to completely comprehend their point of view before you share your own point of view. So listen first, and don’t jump to conclusions (James 1:19).

You answer: “yeah, that might work on some other planet. But this is the real world, Phill. It’s 2010! My 401K has taken a beating, I’m way too busy, my children are driving me crazy and I need to loose a few pounds. And it’s hot outside…WAY too hot. Crazy humid. I don’t want to be quick to listen and I’m already angry.”

Okay. Let’s take a step back then. In fact, I agree with everything you said. My 403b doesn’t look that good either right now. And I’m back up to 184 lb, when I should really be around 175 lb. I feel your pain. So consider the scripture that God put into my mind Saturday while I was mowing the lawn (while it was crazy humid, btw):

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

When we grasp just how much God loves us. How deep and grand His love is for us, and that there is NOTHING that will ever get in the way of His love, NOTHING that could ever stop it. He’s crazy about YOU. Specifically you, with all of your quirks, because you are His. When we really understand that, it’s much easier to take criticism from others. The opinion that matters the most is abundantly positive and will never change.

With that said, I’ll 175 lb by Sept. 12 (choir starts; I’ll be a lean, mean, arm waving machine by then). Count on it. But either way, God’s love for me won’t stop.

The Christmas musical will be specifically designed to be the hands and feet of Jesus to families! I’m excited about it already! Anyone 8th grade or older is welcome to join us in the choir. We’ll practice every Sunday night through the Fall except for Oct. 31 (Halloween) and November 28 (Thanksgiving weekend). The rhythm section will practice with the choir every Sunday night.

The orchestra will begin practice in November and join us for the musical on December 18-19. However, we’ll have all the music arranged for you by September 12 if you want to pick up your music before November. We’ll need violins, clarinets, flutes, oboes, trumpets, trombones, French horns, saxophones, tubas, the whole deal! Anyone in 8th grade and older is welcome to join us.

We’ll also have an elementary choir (1st-5th grade) and the Son Kids choir (3 years-kindergarten) who will be practicing every Sunday night, as well as programming for middle school and high school, so bring the entire family!

Worship Ministry Summer Party: July 11, from 3:00-7:30 @ 8111 Shore Drive Newburgh

Bob and Brenda Walters would like to have us all over from 3:00-7:30 at their house. We’ll eat at 5:00. Swimming, volleyball, etc. This is for everyone in the worship ministry and their families! We’ll provide the meat and the drinks, tenors bring the dessert.

Value of the Month: Take a Break

Yes, take a break, but not too long: God created us to work and take care of the garden (Genesis 2:15). A vacation is good, but lying around week after week with nothing to do but eat Chinese take out and watch DVD’s is not so good, and a pretty boring.

Speaking of taking a break, Brian is here as our worship ministry intern, so I haven’t played guitar in over a month. He’s been playing guitar and doing very well. But since I haven’t been playing guitar, my calluses on my fingertips are fading away. So I’ll need to pick up instrument and keep my skills up to snuff.

Yes, we’re going to try again! Bob Walters picked the date, so I’m sure it will be sunny and beautiful, unlike the rainy days EVERY time that I pick the date. Value of the Month: Take a Break

I had a great time on vacation last week. Attached is a picture of…wait for it…. It’s NOT the Atlantic… nor the Pacific…. it’s good ole’ Lake Erie. I skipped some rocks on the lake and felt the ocean wave of refreshment come over my soul. I needed a break and God cleansed my soul during that warm afternoon, with the wind in my hair and some smooth stones in my hand. I road across Cuyahoga National Park on a borrowed bike and heard the call of God through His creation. 60 miles on a bike will help you hear God’s voice and make you appreciate your hotel room too. J

I also want to compliment you all on something: you all left me alone on my vacation! Please don’t misunderstand: I love to hang out with you all, talk on the phone, Facebook chat, sing and play music, etc. But this week of vacation from ministry was something I really needed. You all respected that and I appreciate you all so much because of it! God bless you all!

Consider what God commanded the nation of Israel to do: one 1 full Sabbath year (Leviticus 25), Many festivals and feasts (Leviticus 23), and a Sabbath day (once a week: Exodus 20), all of which no work was to be done. That’s a lot of time off! Did other people think Israel was lazy? No way. Israel was the most prosperous and respected nation on the planet when they did it God’s way. They were blessed beyond measure during the reigns of King David and King Solomon when they were keeping ALL of God’s laws, including the Sabbath.

Unity Choir Concert Sunday Night!

When was your last vacation? Mine was last May, and to be honest, I’m looking forward to taking another one in a few weeks. Mine will be about a week, but consider what Jesus did. He was a carpenter till about age 30, then He took 40 days off (Luke 4). Then he started his earthly ministry after that. Wow: that’s quite a break! But notice what happened to Jesus during his break: Satan gave him plenty of opportunities to make some poor decisions: abuse of power, testing God, unfaithfulness to God, etc. Yet He did not sin, and started his ministry refreshed and ready to go. Even Jesus needed a vacation once in a while. J

Unity Choir Concert: June 6 at 6:00 P.M.!

It’s only two weeks away! I can’t begin to explain the joy and fun that I’ve had practicing with that group! It’s been so much fun to just be “one of the guys” and not be the main leader. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do at the concert in the worship center on June 6.

I’m also very excited about Brian Walker joining us as our new worship ministry intern! Brian is a very talented worship leader, singer/songwriter, guitarist, and all around good guy. His first day in the office will be Tuesday, June 1, so most of you all will get to meet him on Sunday, June 6. He’ll be playing acoustic and electric guitar that day in the 9:15 and 10:45 services. He’ll be staying with Bob and Brenda Walters. We’ve got him here until December 31. He’s listed as an officer on the worship ministry Facebook page, so feel free to send him a friend request.

Unity Choir Concert: June 6 at 6:00 P.M.!

I’m having so much fun practicing with the unity choir, and it’s great to have about a dozen FCCN adult choir people along for the ride as well! The Unity Choir will be in concert on June 6:00 at 6 P.M. here in the FCCN worship center. You may remember the Unity Choir: they performed at the concert for the principal and in a few worship services in the past year. If you enjoy gospel music, you will love this concert!

Praise Team Practice is on Wednesday this Week

Noah’s Ark Preschool Graduation is Tuesday (May 11) in the worship center, so we’ll be having practice on Wednesday (May 12) instead. Modern service from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Classic service from 8:00-9:00 P.M.

Value of the Month: Relational Evangelism

As we discussed last year, the best way to talk to someone about Jesus is to be their friend first. That’s the whole idea behind the yellow cards each week. I have a stack of them sitting on my desk today. Every day I pray for an open door for the person on that card to talk to their friend about Jesus. We’ve seen some amazing things happen as a result of that ministry!

Weddings

So far we have lots of vocalists who want to be involved in weddings, praise the Lord! Am I the only instrumentalist that wants to be involved in weddings? Let me know if you want to be involved. We need guitarists, piano players, string players, woodwind and brass.

Worship Ministry Appreciation Party! (Sunday, May 2, 6:00-?)

The Foust family is inviting everyone in the worship ministry (media team, instrumentalists, ALL choirs, creative material people, etc, AND their immediate family to our house this Sunday night! We’ll provide the meat and the drinks, tenors bring the dessert, everyone else bring a side dish (unless you don’t cook, it’s okay to show up with nothing, there will be plenty of food for all!)

Concert for the Principal

Thanks everyone for a great concert! We had a great crowd and a good vibe throughout the evening. I hope you all got as much encouragement after the concert as I did! God has blessed FCCN with so much talent!

I really enjoyed all the variety in music. The concert showcased modern worship, new country, folk, gospel, guitars, drums, trumpets, violins… wow! And it was fun too. Every song was well rehearsed. $13,475.32 was given to put on the principal as well. Praise the Lord!

Weddings

Adult Choir World Vision Fund (kitty)

As you all know, we support world vision through the choir donations each Sunday night. Mary Kaufmann asked me to thank you: you all have been very generous this spring and there is enough money in kitty for the summer while we’re not meeting. Praise the Lord!

Value of the Month: Ephesians 4:29

Okay, so we’re commanded to build each other up. But what’s the motivation behind it? Consider the stern warning from Jude about “godless men.” According to Jude 1:16, these guys “boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.”

I remember first moving to Newburgh and making the conscious effort to always follow Ephesians 4:29 with everyone (believe me, before the move to Newburgh I did NOT follow Ephesians 4:29: ask my wife about it. J). Then I was reading Jude one morning and that passage hit me like a ton of bricks: what is my motivation? Am I “building others up according to their needs” or am I simply flattering others “for my own advantage?” Hmmmm…..

Value of the Month: Ephesians 4:29

It’s one of the best things in the world: to get a sincere compliment. It feels good to be on the giving or receiving end. It is “helpful for building others up according to their needs.” It’s a simple act that will probably make someone’s day!

On the flip side, “unwholesome” probably is better translated as “corrupt.” Think of it as rotten fruit or fish. I know, that’s gross, but what’s worse is to “grieve the Holy Spirit of God” by our filthy talk (Eph. 4:30). How much better is it to encourage? That’s like the smell of vanilla cookies warm out of the oven, or a freshly cut lawn without the allergies to go with it.

Easter is this Sunday!

It was great to have so many in the choir at practice Sunday night! We had to set up another riser, praise the Lord!

The choir, rhythm section and media team will be parking at Castle High School. The bus will start running at 6:30 A.M. Please drop your kiddos off in the nursery and be in the worship center by 6:45 A.M.!
